In a notice posted on the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality
website on Monday, 22 Apr 2013, residents of Greenbushes and Seaview should expect
electricity power interruptions.
“Residents are kindly requested to note that the electricity supply to
the Greenbushes and Seaview areas will be interrupted between the hours of
08:h00 – 17:00 on THURSDAY, 25 APRIL 2013 (alternatively, Friday, 26 April
2013, if the weather does not permit) due to the upgrade, refurbishment and
maintenance of equipment on the GBS Overhead Line.
Areas bounded by: Cows Corner, Louisa Road, Goedemoedsfontein,
Hilltops, The Island, Chinchilla Farm, Seaview Pump Station, Seaview, Clarendon
Marine, Seaview West, Beachview, Maitland Mouth Resort and Kini Bay.
Affected Line Codes: GBS, CCR, SHT, SCF and SPL
As there is no guarantee that supply will be off throughout the whole
period stated, installations in all premises must still be regarded as being
live during these hours.
