South
Africa is poised to inaugurate its fifth democratically elected President
following the holding of successful General Elections in 2014. The Inauguration
of the fifth democratically elected President of the Republic of South Africa
will take place on 24 May 2014 at the Union Buildings, City of Tshwane; the
national seat of government.
The
Presidential Inauguration is a national activity that is of major significance
to all South Africans with historical importance and as such the GCIS Eastern
Cape office, in partnership with Municipalities, has organised public viewing
events across the province, this is in keeping with government’s commitment to
mobilise South Africans to actively participate in government programmes.
